2027 Houston Marathon Run for a Reason – Fundraising Agreement

By participating in the 2027 Houston Marathon Run for a Reason program, I agree to the following terms.

The Fundraise for Registration (FFR) program gives me the opportunity to fundraise on behalf of His Grace Foundation to receive an entry into my desired race. To participate, I commit to raising the minimum fundraising amount required by His Grace Foundation in exchange for a race entry. FFR opportunities are available for the following races: Chevron Houston Marathon, Aramco Houston Half Marathon, and We Are Houston 5K presented by Aramco and Chevron.

There are important fundraising milestones that I must meet to remain eligible for the race. For Chevron Houston Marathon and Aramco Houston Half Marathon participants, I must have raised at least $175 of the required minimum by October 1, 2026. If I do not meet this milestone by that date, my application will not be accepted. For We Are Houston 5K participants, I must have raised at least $175 by December 1, 2026. If I do not reach this milestone by that date, my application will also not be accepted.

By January 5, 2027, I must have raised the full fundraising minimum required by His Grace Foundation. If I have not met the goal by this date, my race bib will be held at packet pickup. To collect my bib, I will either need to show proof of meeting the fundraising goal or pay the remaining balance. If I wish to avoid a hold on my bib, I understand that the charity administrator from His Grace Foundation can charge the difference. Alternate arrangements for payment may be made, but this will be determined on a case-by-case basis with the charity administrator from His Grace Foundation.

The fundraising campaign for the 2027 season will close on January 29, 2027. This is the last day to fundraise for registration.

If I do not meet my fundraising goal by the required dates, I understand that I may be charged the remaining balance needed to complete my fundraising minimum.

All donations raised will go directly to His Grace Foundation to support its programs and services. I agree to use the official fundraising platform provided by His Grace Foundation to collect donations, and I will stay in touch with His Grace Foundation for updates or tips on reaching my fundraising goal.

By acknowledging this waiver, I confirm that I have read, understood, and agree to these terms.
