By registering for Team Stop the Clot® for the 2027 ASICS Los Angeles Marathon, I acknowledge and agree to the following:

Fundraising Commitment
I understand that participation on Team Stop the Clot® is contingent upon meeting the fundraising requirements established by the National Blood Clot Alliance (NBCA), a minimum of $2,500 per runner. I agree to actively fundraise and make every reasonable effort to reach the required minimum fundraising goal by the deadlines communicated by NBCA. I understand that failure to meet the fundraising commitment may result in my being responsible for the remaining balance.

Assumption of Risk
I understand that training for and participating in a marathon involves inherent risks. I acknowledge that I am voluntarily participating in marathon training and the event at my own risk and that I am responsible for determining whether I am physically able to participate.

Release of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release and hold harmless the National Blood Clot Alliance, its officers, directors, employees, volunteers, sponsors, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, or causes of action arising from or related to my participation in Team Stop the Clot®, except where caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct.

Photography & Publicity
I grant the National Blood Clot Alliance permission to use photographs, video, audio recordings, quotes, and other materials featuring me that are captured or provided in connection with Team Stop the Clot® for educational, promotional, fundraising, and marketing purposes in print, digital, social media, and other communications. I understand that I may notify NBCA if I have questions regarding the use of my likeness.

Privacy
I understand that the personal information I provide will be used by NBCA to administer the Team Stop the Clot® program and communicate with me regarding training, fundraising, and race-related activities.
