LA Marathon, Half Marathon, and Big 5K Charity Program – 2027
By registering to participate as a member of the Hope the Mission Charity Team, I acknowledge, understand, and agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Fundraising Commitment
I understand that registration through Hope the Mission is contingent upon my commitment to raise the required fundraising minimum associated with my event registration.
By registering, I am making a commitment to actively fundraise and meet the required minimum fundraising amount for my selected event.
2. Non-Refundable Donations
I understand and agree that all donations and funds raised on behalf of Hope the Mission are charitable contributions and are non-refundable, regardless of my participation status, event cancellation, injury, inability to participate, or failure to complete the event.
3. Fundraising Deadline
I understand that all fundraising must be completed by February 28, 2027 no exceptions.
4. January Fundraising Benchmark
I understand that each participant is expected to have raised at least 50% of their required fundraising minimum by January 15, 2027. Failure to reach this benchmark may result in review of my participation status at Hope the Mission's discretion.
5. Participant Financial Responsibility
I authorize Hope the Mission to charge the credit card provided during registration for any unpaid portion of my fundraising commitment.
If I do not meet my required fundraising minimum by 11:59 PM on February 28, 2027, I agree that Hope the Mission may charge my credit card for the remaining balance needed to fulfill my fundraising obligation.
6. Automatic Charge Authorization
I understand and agree that all outstanding fundraising balances will be charged to the credit card on file beginning Tuesday, March 1, 2027.
I acknowledge that I am personally responsible for any amount not raised by the fundraising deadline and authorize Hope the Mission to process the remaining balance without additional notice.
7. Acknowledgment
By registering for the Hope the Mission Charity Team, I acknowledge that:
- I have read and understand this agreement.
- I am voluntarily committing to raise the required fundraising minimum.
- All donations made toward my fundraising efforts are non-refundable.
- I am financially responsible for any portion of the fundraising minimum that remains unpaid after February 28, 2027.
- I authorize Hope the Mission to charge my credit card for any outstanding balance beginning March 1, 2027.
